Baba Yuga isn't the Boogy Man, Baba Yuga is the guy you send to kill the Boogy Man.

This amazingly detailed model was designed by 3DArtGuy and takes inspiration from the grimdark universe's Night Haunter himself; Konrad Curze, Primarch of the VIIIth Legion Astartes, the Night Lords.

Konrad Curze, also known as the Night Haunter, is the infamous Primarch of the Night Lords Space Marine Legion in Warhammer 40K. Feared throughout the galaxy for his merciless terror tactics and prophetic visions, Konrad Curze embodies the grim, gothic horror that defines the Imperium’s darkest corners.

Born on the night-shrouded hive world of Nostramo, Konrad Curze grew up hunting murderers and corrupt officials with savage brutality, enforcing order through fear. His rule transformed Nostramo into a terrified, crime-free world—but at the cost of widespread horror and public executions. His philosophy of using terror as justice became the defining doctrine of the Night Lords Legion.

During the Great Crusade, Konrad Curze was a master of psychological warfare, launching night raids and massacre campaigns designed to cow rebellious systems into submission. However, his increasingly cruel methods and grim prophecies of the Imperium’s corruption led to clashes with his fellow Primarchs and estrangement from the Emperor of Mankind.

In the Horus Heresy, Konrad Curze sided with Horus and the traitor legions, fully embracing the role of the Emperor’s monster. He led the Night Lords in brutal campaigns across the galaxy, sowing fear and despair among loyalist forces. Unlike other traitor Primarchs, Curze did not turn to Chaos for power, instead acting out of nihilistic conviction in the Imperium’s hypocrisy and inevitable decay.

Konrad Curze’s story ends in prophetic tragedy: knowing he would die at the hands of the Emperor’s assassin, he accepted his fate as judgment for his own monstrous crimes. His death did nothing to break the Night Lords, who remain one of the most feared and ruthless Chaos Space Marine warbands in the 41st millennium.

Collectors and hobbyists prize Night Lords miniatures for their menacing iconography—skulls, flayed skins, lightning motifs—and their rich, horror-inspired lore. Konrad Curze himself is an unforgettable figure in Warhammer 40K, representing the grimdark extremes of fear, justice, and fatalism that define the universe.
