The Big Red Murder Machine!
This gloriously brutal miniature — sculpted by 3DArtGuy — takes inspiration from the Grimdark universe’s Red Angel, Angron, Primarch of the XII Legion Astartes, the World Eaters.
Angron is the very embodiment of rage, tragedy, and raw, unrelenting violence. Born on the blood-soaked world of Nuceria, he was enslaved and forced to fight as a gladiator long before the Emperor ever found him. It was there that Angron’s fate was sealed — his captors implanted the infamous Butcher’s Nails, cybernetic devices that rewired his brain for constant aggression and agony. When the Emperor finally came to claim him, Angron refused the golden hand of salvation, choosing loyalty to his fellow slaves over the Emperor’s distant promises. The Emperor, ever pragmatic, teleported Angron away mid-rebellion, leaving his brothers to die — a betrayal that would scar the Red Angel forever.
When given command of the XII Legion, Angron reshaped them in his own image. Under his rule, the World Eaters became a whirlwind of berserk fury, charging headlong into battle with chainaxes roaring and blood spraying. Where other Legions sought victory through strategy, Angron sought it through annihilation. His Legion’s war-cry became simple and absolute: “Blood for the Blood God!”
During the Horus Heresy, Angron’s rage found purpose in rebellion. Aligned with Horus, he embraced the call of Khorne, the Chaos God of War. His transformation into a Daemon Primarch was as inevitable as it was horrifying — his body twisted into a monstrous avatar of carnage, his soul lost to the endless roar of the Nails.
In the 41st Millennium, Angron remains the Eternal Berserker, a daemon of slaughter and fury, descending upon worlds to drown them in the blood of their defenders. He is both a warning and a legend — proof that even a Primarch can fall, and that rage, once unleashed, cannot be chained.
